Fruit from the Heart of the Hill vineyard carries some serious weight. We age ours in 100% new French oak for 36 months to achieve softer, more integrated flavors. The 2015 is all about about blackberry and blueberry compote - with burnt caramel graphite, and cream, shifting to red fruit to on the finish. The wine is balanced across the palate, with vivid tannins bringing flavors to a conclusion. 14.4% ABV
