The result of the Allegrini family’s expertise, a true classic of the appellation, this red wine embraces tradition, territory and the know-how of country ways. Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Oseleta are left to air dry at least until December and are checked daily to ensure perfectly healthy grapes.

The selection of the company’s best grapes, harvested across a viticultural estate extending over hilly land for over 100 hectares, allows the production of this wine of great stylistic precision and harmony. The controlled drying of the harvested grapes which lasts for a hundred days produces the great aromatic intensity of dark fruit and undergrowth that we find in this Amarone 2017. The impact on the palate is powerful and vigorous and then the wine gradually tapers through the acidic and savory thrust, delicately elongating and closing with a dry, clean finish.

Intense ruby red. Warm and spicy bouquet, with aromas of raisins. This is due to the fact that the grapes are allowed to partially dry prior to fermenting. Well-structured, complex, elegant and velvety. Amarone has a distinctive flavor because of its unique production method. An extremely important wine in Italian viticulture, Amarone is an exclusive and unique symbol of the Valpolicella region. 

18 months in oak, then blended together for 7 months. Ageing potential more than 20 years. 

Traditionally enjoyed with game, roasted and grilled meats, casseroles and well matured cheeses. Excellent with hearty dishes. Amarone’s distinctive flavor compliments exotic sweet and sour cuisine and is therefore also perfect with Asian and middle-eastern dishes.
