The estate of Puig-Parahy dates back to 1446 and lies on clay-limestone soils in the foothills of the Pyrennees near the Spanish border. Very old vines and exceptionally low yields bring intense flavors of blackberry, plum and brown spices, bittersweet herbs and some smokiness. Exuberant, infectiously juicy, impeccably clean. To be paired with grilled meats & ribs, pasta and cheese.
