100% Malbec
Cahors, Bordeaux, France
The stone is white, the earth is red and the wines are black. Cahors appellation is first an exceptional Terrior, the garden of the vineyard!
Built after the French Revolution in the Southwest of France, Chateau Haut-Théron is located in the middle of the Quercy region, on top of the sunny hillside slopes facing South/Southwest and dominating the Lot Valley. The vineyard of 30 hectares of an average of age of 30 years is one of the greatest representations of this noble grape variety and traditional Malbec from which this wine is vinified.
Dark, shiny and ruby in color. A complex nose of black cherry with a hint of violet and blackberry. Elegant and long meaty palate with rich structure which starts on ripe fruit. Will perfectly match with game, all grilled meats and cheeses.
