100% Pinot Gris
Alsace, France
On the nose this wine is pure, no botrytis notes, a mix of white flowers and peach, with a touch of smoke. The taste is elegant with little residual sugar (13 grams), and a welcome acidity. The length is beautiful. To drink or keep two more years.
Born in Hunawihr, this Pinot Gris comes from a heavy and deep clay soil with a bit of limestone. East exposure. The clay brings softness and texture to the Pinot Gris and the deep soil provide lengths.
