This orange wine has an intense and complex nose with notes of rooibos, mandarin oranges and orange zest, candied oranges, yellow apple and hazelnuts. The palate is tart and fruity, invigorating with flavors of oranges, grapefruit, cherries, some sherry, herbs and various nuts on the finish. Goes very well with pasta with porcini mushrooms.
65 year old vines, 600 meters in altitude, granita & sandy soils, manual harvest, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, aged in French oak barrels, indigenous yeasts, no filtering/fining.

The small estate is located in Méntrida and is in an old typical Toledana house where the oldest part, the cave, dates to the 16th century and was used by their ancestors to elaborate wine in clay vats. With romantic 16th century gardens, the estate has always been linked to the family, and the family always linked to winemaking and viticulture.
Bodegas Jiménez-Landi is now a modern boutique-winery belonging to the Spain ́s Appellation of Origin “DOP Méntrida-Toledo”, one of the oldest in the country. The winery produces limited number of artisan wines following organic agriculture applying innovation and technology.
