Troon Vineyard is a Biodynamic® Certified regenerative organic farm in Oregon’s Applegate Valley. We naturally craft wines to bring pleasure to your life. All Troon wines are made from Biodynamic grapes spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts and no additives of any kind.

Côtes du Kubli translates as “from the hills around Kubli” as these grapes were grown at Cowhorn Vineyard, a Biodynamic® and Organic certified vineyard a few miles away from Troon in the Applegate Valley. Our Côtes du Kubli White is a blend of roussanne, marsanne, and viognier gaining structure and acidity from the roussanne, stone fruit and body from the marsanne and lovely floral aromas
from the viognier. The grapes were harvested, lightly pressed then fermented in neutral French oak barrels. After aging on their lees for five months, the wine received a small sulfur addition before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. The Côtes du Kubli White harmonizes perfumed aromatics and wonderful texture with ample fruit and refreshing acidity.

Troon Vineyard is located on the Kubli Bench, high above the Applegate River in the Siskiyou Mountains of Southern Oregon. It is a biodiverse farm of almost 100 acres. Life on our farm includes cider apples, a vegetable garden, re-wilded honeybees, sheep, chickens, wildlife, humans and, of course, grapevines.

We make a fermented preparation made from yarrow and it is applied to our compost piles. It
works to enliven the processes of sulfur, potassium and fluid flow within the compost pile by
converting urea into protein, and develops nitrogen fixing bacteria. It helps the soil be more stable
and helps plants access important trace minerals.

This rich blend of Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne was sourced from the biodynamic Cowhorn Vineyard and fermented with wild yeasts. It's thick and viscous, loaded with ripe, almost unctuous fruit flavors of peach, apricot and sweet pear. Though not a dessert wine, there's enough fruit sweetness to give it a full-bodied finish, buoyed by moderate acidity.
