CIAO TUTTI!
'Mare e terre in vino' (sea and land, in wine) - says producer, Dario Serrentino. That about sums up this beauty from southeastern Sicily. A certified organic stunner of a chillable, red-white co-fermented wine.
GRAPES: Mostly Nero d'Avola, blended with white grapes Inzolia, Catarratto, and the magical red grape, Perricone.
PROFILE: Dry, medium body. Plush cherry, strawberry, blood orange, wild Sicilian herbs. Finishes with a volcanic, saline mineral vibe and crisp acidity. Enjoy lightly chilled. Low sulfur, just 10gL at bottling.
TUTTU: Sicilian dialect for 'tutto' - meaning 'everything'. We're pretty much sure this wine is everything we want to be drinking this season.
"Chillable, glug-glug" juice to the ideal backyard BBQ companion this summer.
A humble, mere 100 cases produced annually.
