Deep straw in color. Notes of lemon curd and green apple coupled with freshly baked pie crust waft from the glass are complimented by citrus aromas with hints of white peach and floral notes. Light toasty flavors with lime, and melon. Medium-bodied, the wine carries well through the mid-palate with a long juicy finish.
The grapes were whole cluster pressed and went through 80% secondary malolactic fermentation until naturally arrested at blending. Each barrel was tasted individually when blending to create an exquisitely balanced 2020 Estate Chardonnay that is true to its varietal roots with a hint of the signature “Laetitia Spice”. 100% barrel-fermented in French oak, 25% new and 75% neutral.
