85% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot
Toscana, Italy
Casanova di Neri was founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri, a 48-year-old merchant of grain and seeds, who decided to leave the city of Montevarchi, in the Arno valley south of Florence, to embark on a great adventure. Passionate about wine for many years now, Giovanni Neri has a dream, to be able to produce a great Italian red wine. Although the renowned lands of Chianti Classico are a short walk from where he grew up, it is the austerity of the Sangiovese that grows in Montalcino and its unpredictability that fascinates him.
IrROSSO is the result of the union between Sangiovese and small addition of our own grapes from different varieties: it gives the idea of a young red, significant but with easy drinkability and is linked to the characteristics of its native territory, with an unforgettable Casanova di Neri stamp.
