Involuntary Commitment is a new project in Washington State that is “committed” to producing premium wine from top Vineyards from the Columbia Valley. The idea behind this new project was the forecast of a larger than expected harvest. Fruit is sourced from only premium vineyards in Washington State. Grapes are always handpicked and are made in a minimal intervention style that mimics the philosophy embraced at Andrew Will. With a combination of great weather, vine maturity and timing we created a wine that shows all the nuances of premier Washington State grapes that will drink wonderfully right out of the bottle. The goal behind this project was to embrace wines made to be enjoyed any day of the week and with food in mind.
The wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks with all native yeasts and are aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels.
Time in barrels: 11 Months (100% Neutral French Oak Barrels)
Vinification: Fermented in Stainless Steel, Native Yeast, No Fining or Filtering
Winemaker: Will Camarda
