This wine is staggeringly delicious, but it ain’t rosato. Darker than a Grignolino, a chillable red hiding behind a pink label. Less serious than Caparsa’s other Sangioveses maybe, but it didn’t lose an ounce of enjoyability in ceding the Chianti name for a misleading IGT rosato Toscana title. Garnet color, really pretty raspberry and plum, faint but perceptible tannin. Organic.
