The smell of wine has intensity, vanilla, floweriness, a hunch of smoke and lemon. The mouthfeel is very full, round and strong, highlighted by abundant but soft acids. The rich taste has oak, vanilla, minerality and grapefruit. A really top wine that's still a little young. In other things, the wine must be decanted well in advance or allowed to ripen for at least a year so that its potential becomes more clear. Perfect for light meat or fine fish dishes served with butter sauce.
