100% Gamay from 45-to-86-year-old vines in granite and sandy loam soils. Hand harvested, natural yeast fermentation. 80% whole cluster maceration in stainless steel for 24 days. Rests during the winter in tank allowing for gravitational filtration. Further aging in 3-5-year-old barrels. Made from organic grapes, this wine has a direct red-cherry flavor. It is all about the fruit, with acidity and a light structure giving balance.
